This was a day when we all
stood together, when even those that were not directly effected by the bombings
showed unity with the people of London in defying terrorism.
We demonstrated by a mass display that London was not destroyed by these acts but
made stronger and more united.
The motorcycle ride passed through the central core of London stopping at
each site where the atrocities took place; Edgware Road, Tavistock Square, Kings
Cross and Aldgate East, where wreaths were laid.
The
ride then went on to the Victoria Embankment and the Memorial Gardens close
to Embankment station, where a ceremony and a minute silence was held.
The ride continued to Parliament Square and Hyde Park before heading west to the
Ace Café. At the Ace, the ride ended with a raising of
the flag, which had stood at half-mast since 7th July.
We then celebrated our freedom!
